Off to see Emperor the stag tonight at The Underground Theatre in Eastbourne. Also hovering on the musical radar like an alien craft above the skies of Roswell is the sheet music that Beck is trying to pass off as his latest album. Great idea? Death of the author etc? Or did he just think 'You know what I can't be bothered with this anymore- let them do it for once' Well of course it wasn't the latter, silly me. I'm looking forward to seeing how our musical interpretation sounds!
Also Andy Weatherall's new album looks like a definite purchase. 'Masterpiece' (Ministry of Sound) remixes indie stuff and dance into a 'coherent whole'.Sounds good to me!
